I decided walking the Zoo would be more motivating than walking the Rose Bowl. I was right. There was so much to look at and observe. I took my camera and snapped away for two and half hours. I can not remember the last time I was completely absorbed in what I was doing. I did not give a thought to anything except where I was at any given moment. I took a mental vacation. I felt really great at the end of it. Rested. Never once did I think about my kids which is all I have thought of for the last 14 years regardless of where I was or what I was doing. This felt really good.
This is what I have been working on over the last week. Not to long ago we took a trip down to the Welburn Gourd Farm in Temecula. I purchased some gourds and some stains. I finally found time to take them out to play . This is the first batch!
